Is Vaastu – Science or Superstition?

“I don’t believe in Vaastu. It’s all just superstition,” an old acquaintance quipped at a recent reunion. I’ve heard that line before—too many times. When I first decided to pour energy into fixing the energy of spaces (yes, I love that pun), my family raised skeptical eyebrows, and my classmates probably thought I’d lost my marbles. Fifteen years later, I’m still at it, running a thriving company—not out of sheer stubbornness, but because I’ve witnessed firsthand how energy shapes our lives in ways most people miss.

That’s why I’m here talking about Vaastu: to slice through the myths and share what actually works. Vaastu’s reputation has taken a beating, tangled up in weird claims that make it sound like hocus-pocus. For centuries, it was cloaked in secrecy, which only fed the doubters.

So, I’m launching this blog series to unpack what I’ve learned—and seen deliver results—at Environics. Welcome to the wild, wonderful world of Vaastu. Buckle up for the ride!

Everything Is Energy

“Everything is energy, and that’s all there is to it.” ~ Albert Einstein

Einstein wasn’t kidding, and science has spent decades backing him up. Here’s the thing: you don’t need to “believe” in energy for it to work. Wi-Fi doesn’t care if you trust it—it just connects your phone. The same goes for the energy pulsing through your surroundings. At its heart, Vaastu is about that vital force—the flow weaving through every nook of your space. In ancient times, homes were built in sync with the panchtatva—the five elements that make up our bodies—aligning a space’s energy with our own. But modern life, with its rush for quick housing and sprawling construction, has thrown that harmony out the window. The result? Disrupted energy fields.

Ever walked into a room and felt instantly at ease—or oddly on edge—for no clear reason? That’s not your imagination. It’s the space’s energy talking to you.

Where’s the Proof?

Energy isn’t some fuzzy idea—it’s measurable.

At Environics, we started with a simple premise: if we can measure it, we can fix it. We use cutting-edge tools and scientifically validated methods to detect and correct energy disturbances in homes, offices, factories, and even airports. This isn’t vague guesswork—it’s rooted in quantum physics, biofields, and tangible electromagnetic interactions. (Don’t worry I won’t bore you with a deep dive into these topics right now. But soon. Read it if you are a knowledge seeker)

Quantum physics shows us that everything—your desk, your thoughts, the air you breathe—is energy, vibrating at unique frequencies. These fields don’t just sit there; they dance together. Sometimes they sync up beautifully; other times, they clash, sparking stress or chaos. Disturbed electromagnetic fields in space can mess with your health, focus, and even the machinery around you. It’s why some places lift you up while others drain you dry—belief optional.

Measuring Energy with Precision Unlike traditional Vaastu, with its rigid directional rules, we take a modern tack—measuring and correcting energy with precision instruments.

Here’s what we tackle:

Geopathic Stress – Natural earth radiation distortions that can sap your health.

Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs) – Emissions from devices, cell towers, and Wi-Fi routers.

Energy Imbalances – Environmental biofield shifts that sway human performance.

Before you come at me asking for my credentials, we have third-party certifications and feature in top peer-reviewed journals. Our work isn’t just talk—it’s proven by real-world case studies. From homes to sprawling industrial sites, we’ve seen well-being, productivity, and even equipment efficiency soar after correcting energy imbalances. People feel the shift, but we don’t stop at feelings. We use before-and-after analysis to prove the changes in energy, comfort, and results.

In the blogs ahead, I’ll dig into the science, the tools, and the transformations.

The Power of What’s Unseen

Energy isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the invisible force steering your life, whether you notice it or not. At Environics, we don’t just preach balance; we measure it, master it, and transform it. Stick with me on this journey, and I’ll show you how to tap into the hidden power of your spaces—not just to live in them, but to thrive.

The proof is in the energy.

Are you ready to feel it?

  1. World Health Organization (WHO)

“Given the widespread use of technology, the International Agency for Research on Cancer classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B), emphasizing the need for precautionary measures.”
World Health Organization, IARC Press Release, 2011

  1. European Environment Agency (EEA)

“Waiting for high levels of scientific and clinical proof can lead to very high health and economic costs, as was the case with asbestos, leaded petrol, and tobacco. We advocate precaution concerning electromagnetic radiation.”
European Environment Agency, “Late Lessons from Early Warnings,” 2013

  1. BioInitiative Report

“Biological effects from exposure to electromagnetic radiation are clearly established and occur at levels much lower than current safety standards allow.”
BioInitiative Report, 2012

  1. American Academy of Pediatrics

“Children are disproportionately affected by environmental exposures, including electromagnetic fields, due to their developing bodies. We recommend precautionary measures to minimize their exposure.”
American Academy of Pediatrics, Recommendations to the FCC, 2013

  1. Dr. Devra Davis, Epidemiologist

“The absence of immediate evidence of harm does not equal proof of safety. History tells us clearly that precaution is a far wiser choice than waiting for absolute certainty.”
